American Hustle (M) at the James this Sunday
American Hustle (M) is coming to the James at 7pm on Sunday May 18. Described as “riotously funny and impeccably cast”, it is a chaotic story of a con-couple found out and forced to work for the FBI, loosely based on a real life 1970’s scandal. The film is richly evocative, bathing in the excesses of the power, the money and the high-life in New Jersey in 1978. Starring Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Jeremy Renner and lots of 1970’s hair, clothes and sunglasses.
